Edwin Harris, the founder of Descriptive Pen, is a true ‘servant’ at heart. The foundational word is ‘servant’ and he firmly believes if being a servant was good enough for Jesus, then it is good enough for him. He serves as the humbled husband to his lovely wife, Beverly Harris, and father to his three amazing children – Jeremy, Kaylin, and Nadia, and one granddaughter Khalia. Currently, he serves as the Lead Pastor at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Harvey, Illinois. Edwin is a Scribe – one who takes notes and documents necessary information that is presented. He takes pride in this skill and the value that it brings to others.
Self development is important to Edwin as he is part of several programs, designed to improve the person of Edwin so he can serve others with excellence and purpose. He is also a certified life transformational coach – a skill obtained that enhances and allows him to serves others well.
At DescriptivePen, we love to serve others with our valued service. We simply provide a SCRIPT of what was shared at the conference, summit, meeting, etc. Edwin is quick to share that in a quiet moment with the Lord, a question was posed, “what do they give you when you go to the various conferences and summits?” The answer is a pad and a pen – the host wants the attendees to TAKE NOTES.
